Catskill, NY on the Hudson River

Today is Saturday, September 7^th, 2014 and we motored 29 nautical miles to Catskill, NY where we will stay for a day or two to have our mast stepped.  We will be a sailboat again!  We passed the Hudson Athens Lighthouse built in 1874.  We could see the Catskill Mountains from the Hudson River – look closely to see the mountains in the background.  We took a few pictures of the ships and freighters we encountered so far in the Hudson River.
