ICW – Daytona, Titusville, Melbourne, and Vero Beach, Florida

When we left St. Augustine our goal was to reach Vero Beach within four days to meet up again with the Sail Rally.  We traveled about 45 miles each day and dropped anchor in Daytona, Titusville, and Melbourne, Florida.  We passed near the Kennedy Space Center Cape Canaveral and there is an anchorage on the ICW that provides the best view of a space launch.  We finally made it to the beach in Melbourne, a bit chilly, but sunny!  On the way to Vero Beach, I finally got a good picture of a dolphin.  We reached Vero Beach on Friday, December 12^th and stayed at Loggerhead Club and Marina for two nights. Our friend, Tara, was willing to climb our mast and fix one of the lines - thanks Tara!
