We departed
Medina, NY on Wednesday, August 27th and made a stop in Brockport,
NY to visit the Welcome Center and take a walking tour of the town. The people are very friendly and welcome all
guests to Brockport. We found a great
bookstore and homemade ice cream! We
moved on to Spencerport, NY to dock for free and spend the night. The town has a lift bridge that divides the
canal and we tied up on the west side.
It seems that almost every town also has an Irish Bar! As you can
see, it is not crowded as we are about two weeks ahead of everyone else going
south for the winter.
